Camino Inglés- The North of Galicia

The Camino de Santiago del Norte is longer than the French and the Primitive Way. It maintained its popularity until the 18th century, attracting pilgrims from Asturias and other European regions.

The Camino Inglés de Santiago is one of the historical routes that has its origins in the pilgrims who came from the ports of northern Europe. These seafaring pilgrims docked at the ports of Coruña and Ferrol to head to Santiago de Compostela.

Centuries of history and travel have been reflected in the great artistic and monumental heritage of the area: the castle of San Antón, the old bridge of Betanzos or the famous Tower of Hercules of Coruña, are some of the wonders that you will find in this Camino.Admire the rich natural heritage of the Betanzos and Ferrol estuaries, and of course we cannot forget the gastronomy of the area: try the famous Betanzos omelette, fresh fish and seafood from the estuary. Come discover one of the most beautiful country lanes in the interior of Galicia.
